SM31RL100QDP Description

Banner Engineering SM31RL100QDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode with a 100 aperture installed potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. The rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of up to 30m, utilizes infrared (IR) light, and boasts a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
